DJ Ezy B biography

DJ Ezy B the man behind the music.

Been a DJ for a long time now and first started buying records in the early 80's (anyone remember Electro 1) from then its been music all the way.

As a DJ and a music lover I have seen the music progress from the soulfull R&B to the now more pop R&B scene.Urban music now has a more bigger role in the music industry at the moment and reaches out more to the masses than in my earlier years anyway but the love of music will never die for me.

Played in some big clubs with some big name DJ's too,Trevor Nelson back in the media days as well as Spoony,Steve Sutherland,Matt Jam Lamont,The Kray Twins,Semtex plus many others they may be big wigs in the game but we all share the same passion for music.

Football is another great love for me I was fortunate enough to sign for Nottingham Forest after leaving school and was there for two years,then i signed professional with Notts County was there for two years as well but unfortunately was released due to them getting relagated from the now premiership,thats football for you.

Djing week in week out is a great job to have i'mlucky enough to have that pleasure and for that i would like to give a special thanks to a man who gave me a break Mr Funky Monkey Gary even if though he is a Arsenal man but if it wasn't for him I surely wouldn't have got the buzz of playing music in the clubs and also putting my remixes on vinyl.

Robbin Hoodz are a collective of Nottingham,Birmingham & London Rappers & Singers at the helm is J.B Footmaster artist as well as producer also an accomplished DJ too,and I am glad to be part of a very talented crew and be there official DJ,also got to big up all the talent that we have in Nottingham keeping UK music alive.

To be a radio DJ is a real full time job its not just about playing the tracks,but also finding information and doing alot of research to,as well as having the knowledge from the past from artists such as James Brown,Michael Jackson,Luther Vandross and all of the real legends from back in the day,because if wasn't for these guys setting the bench mark we would all be listening to the same genre of music.So open your ears and appreciate love for all kinds of music,thanks to G Man for showing me that,great man & friend.Also cant forget the pirate radio days Heatwave & Freeze FM might have been ilegal but it was fun.

Influence is a big thing in the  game and theres many artists out there now who can really make a difference and with the backing from a radio & a club DJ makes it easier but you got to be persistant,all thats left to say is dont sleep on new tunes embrace it.
